Why Me?
As a School Board Member ...
My continued focus will be on adjusting our priorities in our educational system to be geared towards our children’s success and future. I am committed to pursuing these critical topics:
- Making sure teachers are given the tools they need to help our children succeed.
- Remaining fiscally responsible with tax payer money.
- Help retain teachers and staff members.
- Ensure that teachers are experiencing professional growth.
- Ensure that our students experience academic growth.
- Ensure that we maximize our efforts to provide our children a safe learning environment.
- Building a relationship between the school board, parents, and the educators to ensure that we all have a common goal of educating our children and preparing them for the future.
Education is important to me and my children. I am goal oriented and seek results. In the past three years, under my authority as a board member, Menomonee Falls have witnessed the following:
Educational Excellence
- Tremendous growth when it comes to our DPI Report Card
- Back to Back years of 95% Teacher Retention
- High Graduation Rate
- Exceed Expectations on the State Report Card
Fiscal Responsibility
- Lowest mill rate in over 30 years
- $10 Million dollar addition to our Community and Recreation Center without any debt or referendum
- Defeasing debt in May 2024 created over $3.3 million of interest savings to taxpayers
School Safety
- Added a third Safety Resource Officer from the Menomonee Falls Police Department to have in our schools
- Invested in additional security cameras, with the use of ARPA funds, to help get more visibility into our schools
- Secured school doors with the proper security door lock mechanisms
- Separated the community center from Riverside, so no community members have access to students at Riverside (Part of the Community and Rec Center project)
